Maybe I only didn't find the place to adjust this, but I think it would make sense when the folder which is suggested for the save-as-command would be the same that was used for the previous saving or saving as ...

Currently save as ... suggests the folder which was previously used for other things like opening a bitmap which does not make much sense since the most users save their publications in the last used save-folder rather than in the pics-folder.

If I missed an option to adjust this myself I would be glad if someone could give me a hint. Otherwise please put it on the wishlist.
