Hi,

Is there a solution to calling up system commands in 32-bit mode in Windows 64-bit.

Most obvious one is the on screen keyboard - osk.exe

Has anyone had success running this through Windows 7 64-bit, do we need to mess about with Wow64DisableWow64FsRedirection?

Thanks

Some websites I've been looking at to find solution:

I should clarify on this, that if you try and call up the On Screen Keyboard through an Opus publication in 64-bit Windows, you will get an error.

As Windows doesn't appear to allow you call 64-bit actions through a 32-bit program.

That's not right. I use a 32bit file manager replacement and it launches my 64bit applications as does Opus. OSK is an exception because of an underlying requirement.

This might work (see attached).

Ah cool, that is interesting, so it's a osk.exe issue.

Your solution will work, thanks. But does Microsoft have any issues with publisher bundling osk.exe with their applications?

I'd imagine they might - but why would you need to - it's been installed on OSs since at least XP.
