Could it be a graphics card problem?
I suspect that this may be the case. I have received a couple of other reports of unusual error messages and glitches from users of Matrox Parhelia cards which I have been unable to reproduce on any of our test machines. These users have then swapped the Matrox card for an ATI/nVidia card and found that the problems instantly disappeared.
It appears that these problems only affect the editor and we have received no reports of problems running published executables on systems with this graphics card.
I have asked our development team to look into these issues, but as the Opus editor uses standard Win32 controls, this is more likely to be a Matrox driver issue. If we are unable to identify the cause of these problems, we will try to work with the Matrox developers to pinpoint what is triggering these glitches and ensure that this is rectified in the next update.
I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.
Kind regards,
