Hi

I have created a publication and want to publish it to DVD. When I go through the Publish process it appears to work successfully and creates an .ilm file in my folder but then when I click on the OK button at the end of the process the file is deleted and the window says "Your publication was published successfully. The video creator application will now run" but nothing happens.

I'm using Opus Pro v7.04. I've tried downloading the latest update but it's still the same.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance

Lecht

Thanks for the advice.

I've followed the tips for new posters but I'm still stuck. If there's anyone who has encountered this problem before any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Lecht

Hi Lecht,

The problem seems to be related to Opus 7.04 as 7.03 works.

I'll send an email off to DW in a minute to let them know there is an issue. If you haven't got an older copy of 7.03 and the project is urgent, give me a shout and I'll upload the evaluation version for you to use in the meantime.

Regards,

Mack.

I'm having exactly this same problem with Opus 7.04.

I know the DVD is put together correctly, since I've made DVDs several times before (with Opus 5) and have the format down pat. The videos are already MPEG-2 encoded, so that's not the problem.

If the problem is with the version, I'll uninstall and then reinstall with just 7.01 to get the thing published. Not nearly as tricky a work-around as I was fearing!

EDIT: Reverting to 7.01 worked fine, and the DVD is looking good.

Apologies. As everyone spotted, this was a build issue with 7.04. We've uploaded v7.05 which should fix this. You can download via the downloads section of the main site.

Please let support know if it doesn't.

Thanks
