Opus: Pro 9.3
OS: Windows 7
I've written a programme using Opus for a Toshiba laptop which responds to key presses on a Bluetooth number pad.
The programme autoboots when the computer is switched on and the start-up screen displayed for the user.

I'm only using it for this one purpose so I don't need any other Microsoft
rubbish - or for that matter any other housekeeping going on.

I don't use it on the Internet so the wireless connection is off.
Occasionally it crashes - don't all PCs???

As far as I can see I've removed any "installed" programmes and turned off updates etc.

So my three queries are this:
1) Can anyone think what might be interfering with the programme?
2) If the programme does crash and needs restarting does anyone know how to
make the numberpad take control and run the programme again say by pressing enter on the number pad. :?
3) Should I make my programme a higher priority?

The user does not have access to the keyboard and sees the content on an external monitor.
It works fine until something decides to run - which I don't ***** need.
Then we have to mess about accessing the laptop and rebooting the programme.

I've tried a Logitech number pad which has a button for this very purpose but
it doesn't remember what I've told it to do next time I boot the laptop.

Regards to all

I've researched this further and wonder if it's possible to make my default for Media Player - which my number pad will launch - my own programme instead. :?

Any thoughts please? :?:
