Hi, I'm creating a Glossary.

I have a large amount of text, in alphabetical order, in a scrolling text box.

I'd like to put the letters of the alphabet at the top of the screen, so a user can jump to the right alphabetical section.

How would I do this in Opus?

Thanks, Linda

Easy way, and as you may be using Flex, is to use the Scroll to Line action under Text category. It means you'll have to work out the line numbers manually, but the alternative is probably scripted.

Oh, not so brilliant - doesn't seem to work in my published flex file?

Any more suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Linda

Well that sucks :-!

All the other scroll controls are fine and it's displayed as a flex action and doesn't throw an error - so I'm guessing it's broke. I'll send DW an email to clarify.

As the other text box scroll functions do work, you could emulate Goto Line by using a loop and the Goto Next Line repeated X times. See example.
