I am currently writing SCORM 1.2 compliant learning materials in Opus 7 and publishing into Flex for deployment via an LMS.

Whilst I have been able to store and retrieve Objective data successfully I have found that this is only possible if users are guided through the materials in a linear fashion, and the data stored in a similar way i.e. First_page = Objective0, Second_page = Objective1, etc.
It would be better if users had the opportunity to visit pages in whichever order they wish and the system records the name of the page in the next available Objective 'slot' in the LMS. The biggest difficulty I can see is reading the information back into the production and then working out which pages have been 'completed' and which are 'incomplete'.
If I could use For-Next or a While loop I could probably get it sorted, however Flex does not support these useful commands.

Is anyone working on this same problem? Does anyone have a solution?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but just set all the objective data at the start of the publication and update the values in whichever order the user completes them.

BTW, you probably know, but SCORM 1.2 compliance does not include cmi.objectives.
