Hi,

Just wanted to see if others have the same issue I'm having......

just bought a brand new laptop ( 2 days ago ) from my local retailer, the Acer 8950G - its got an I-7 Processor, 8gigs of ram, and is running 2 gig video ( stand alone - not shared ) and Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit - ( all updates from Microsoft are current )....point here IS its up-to -date right?

I had been having problems with changing fonts ever since I installed Opus on this machine so far every attempt to change fonts has resulted in Opus freezing me out then drop out.

I visited the DW site and installed the most recient "service pack" for Opus Pro 6 to now 6.1

After a bit of reading, it appears the issue could be either the fact that im using microsoft Windows 7 ( 64 bit ) - or is there another possibility?

Also, just wondering here... if I purchased the latest version of Opus, would this solve the problem ( including the fact that i'm running a 64 bit version of windows 7?).

Thanks guys...

Hi Viper,

Yes, it appears that Opus 6 does crash under W7x64 when trying to change fonts. I think this may have been posted already but I check it on my development machine anyway.

As for Opus 7, I've had no problems using it on W7x64 and it really is worth the upgrade.

Mack
