I tried the disable task switch function in Opus Pro 4 XE.

Alt-Tab and Ctrl-Esc are working the way it should (NOT) :D.

But I can still use Ctrl-Alt-Del and then the task manager and the start bar will be shown.
I tried to use the key press and key release action to disable the task manager but it didn't work.

Is there another way to dissable that key combination too?
Because for a kiosk, this it is important that it's really fool proof.

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

It may be possible to edit the keyboard mappings using software like KeyTweak (http://webpages.charter.net/krumsick) so that the Ctrl key no longer operates.

However, I have not tested this and cannot confirm if this will affect other important system functions. For example, disabling the Ctrl key may also affect the 'Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to login' prompt which appears when starting Windows 2000, effectively locking you out of the computer.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Kind regards,
