First, try Browsing Sample Publications (in the File menu). See if you can access properties and actions for one of the sample files.

If that does not work, try the instructions in this post to Reset the Opus application.
for example: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2659&hilit=reset+ctrl+alt

then I reset the registry (CTRL+ALT on start up) and it's fixed!!!!!Woooooooooooooooo!!!

Please provide complete PC hrdw, system, and OS environment information -- just to make sure we're not dealing with a cross-platform or emulator problem.

Thanks.
I've tried it without success.
I also uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but it makes no solution.
Strangely enough, eveything seems to work fine. Only I can't edit Properties and Actions, either with the mouse or the keyboard.

That is a strange problem. It does sound like something is 'broken' between the Opus/Creator application and the OS.

wireless MS mouse & keyboard
May I suggest you borrow a standard wired mouse and keyboard -- to see if that makes any difference. That should rule out any issues with your current interface devices (e.g., issues such as drivers needing updating after MS Windows updates; wireless signal interference with cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.).

Hopefully one of the other members here can point to the actual problem -- whether the Creator program or some incompatibility.

BTW, sometimes an Uninstall will still leave remnants of the install in the Windows Registry (and might need to be purged before succeeding with a reinstall -- tree/folders: DW, Opus or Creator, illuminatus, DigitalWorkshop ). Or do a Windows rollback to a couple days prior, System Restore. Installs should be 'run as administrator'.

I have no classical wired mouse and keyboard at the moment.
This is what I have done:
uninstalling thoroughly Opus with Revo Uninstaller,
reinstalling with administrator privileges,
uninstalling MS drivers for mouse and keyboard,
turned off wifi.
The problem's still there: no Properties or Action editing.
My keyboard and mouse are functionning perfectly with all my softwares.
This looks awfully weird.
