Hi, is there an Opus version of the popular IsDate() function found in VB etc?

I'm trying to validate the date field on a form for job cards, I've found the Date.Parse() function but don't really understand how the return value in milliseconds can help me, I just need a boolean value really.

My aim is to stop people entering 'ASAP', 'whenever' etc in the due date field without resorting to a lengthy lookup table of possible date formats.

Kind regards, Kurt

Nothing springs to mind. But if you just after blocking the entry of 'ASAP' etc, then just turn off the letters input for your text box.

That is a fantastic idea Mackavi, I really can't see the wood for the trees today... :-)

Kind regards, Kurt
