Hi there,
I am having a problem with a multiframe that contains 1 picture and 4 frames (each one with 1 text and 1 vector). When I change the name of the multiframe all the frames and the picture move to the North West corner. If I undo the action, the frames won't go back to the original position and i have to resize everything, create a new multiframe and again the same problem, and so on.

Unless this is something you can replicate in a clean publication, I'd guess you've introduced some quirk into that specific publication. You could try either methodically deleting different objects to see if one in particular is the cause or try rebuilding a new multi-frame object frequently checking to see if the problem re-occurs.

That is not very helpful, sorry to say.

What Opus version?

With the very, very limited information you've given... my guess is that you are using a bluetooth or wireless keyboard/mouse, and maybe have wireless router and other interfering devices. Part of my guess is that Windows XP (???) is dropping cursor-position or other object-properties information and Opus objects are being resized and placed in upper-left corner of the page.

You may need to test again, starting with a New Publication, and using a wired keyboard & mouse. That's a longshot that that is the actual problem, but easy to try.

The other easy try is to 'reset' OpusPro application back to its defaults -- discussed elsewhere in this forum.

Thanks for your answers

Im using Windows 7 and Opus v7.06 and using a normal keyboard / mouse (not wireless or bluetooth)
I have attached an example in a new PUB. The problem still there. There are 3 pages.
First with no multiframe only 4 frames.
Second with multiframe without changing it's name.
Third sowing what happens when I change the multiframe name or even copy or duplicate the page without
changing the multiframe name.

Hi Isma,

You're using multi-frames wrong :-)

In the navigator tree, you'll see the multi-frame object as a series of red squares. Each multi-frame will then be a child object. All these child objects are the same size - as they form the multi-frame workspace.

You are trying to insert your unique objects and the multi-frame is treating them as child frames and therefore causing everything to resize. You need to create the multi-frame. Then add the number of frames required (like a tween with time line and frames) and then add all your objects to the individual child frames.
