Hi,

Haven't used the User32.dll Windows message boxes features for a while. Tried to script one in a pub, using the script found in the Opus Scripting help file and can't get it to work (in either Opus Pro v8 or Opus Pro v 7.06). Since I'm testing on a Win 7 X 64 bit OS, tried to substitute SysWOW64 and hard code the direct path (C://...) into the function loading (and also tried to hard code the system 32 path), with no success. Can't get the User32.dll message box to work, yet know it works on my machine for other programs.

From the scripting help file and used without success:

Code:
var UserDLL=LoadDLL(SYSTEM_WINSYS_DIR + "User32.DLL")
if (UserDLL)
{
var MsgBox=UserDLL.CallFn("MessageBoxA", true, "slong", "hwnd", 0, "string", "Please complete all questions before continuing", "string","Reminder",64)
}

Any way to get this working (if not, can use my own message box)?

Kind Regards,

Works fine (using your snippet) on my W7x64 machine. Must be something else.

Thanks, Mack.

I added "ulong" to the above sample script, before the last parameter, which got the script to work.

Regards,
