Opus: Opus Pro v9.5
OS: Windows 7 & Windows 8
System: iMac (with Bootcamp dual boot for Windows) + Sony VAIO laptop
The new features in Opus Pro 8 refers to 'Shuffle Positions' "The shuffle script has now been incorporated as an action. It slows you to select a series of
objects and shuffle their positions randomly – ideal for randomising questions". Is there more information available to explain how this is done? I don't particularly want it for quiz questions - but I'd like to do it for items that will be dragged and dropped.

Sorry - should have spent more time trying it out - I've now worked it out for myself. A great new feature!

Only just finding time to play with this great new feature in v8.

I've created a drag and drop activity that works perfectly in Opus, but when published using flex, the page loads the items and does initially appear to shuffle them, but then they revert to their original positions.

I'd be grateful if someone could confirm that the shuffle function should work when published as a flex file, as I can't find it mentioned in the unsupported feature list.

Seems fine.

Reload to shuffle.

Many thanks for confirming that Mack. Thought I was losing my mind (again!)

Identified the problem was that the shuffle was triggered by showing the page - but I'd also (mistakenly) attached a loop action to the same trigger. Doh! Surprised it even worked in preview mode! Moved the loop action and all now works.

Cheers,

Adrian

That's the problem with multi-screen development.

Opus on one monitor and Olympic swimming on the other. :-)
