Some type of data-grid or a data browser for databases will be a very nice component as an additional object on the toolbox. Especially if actions can be assigned based on records been selected or accepted.
Nice idea. I will ensure that this is looked into for a future update.

Flash support for databases
An Opus Flex publication can communicate with a database through the use of Post Web Data actions and PHP/ASP scripts, which I believe is the same method used by Flash files produced in the full-blown Macromedia Flash MX editor.
I will be adding a number of new FAQ articles in the next couple of days to describe how to insert, update and retrieve records from a database using PHP script and how these techniques can be combined to create a typical login screen.

FTP Object with put and get will be nice as well
I agree. This is currently possible by using Write to Disk File actions to create a series of FTP commands in a batch file, then launching the batch file, although this approach is rather unwieldy. We will look into the possibility of adding a dedicated FTP action in a future update.
Many thanks,
