 Post subject: Need a better audio editor

Opus: Pro 9.6
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
System: Intel i7-2600k, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro 4000
When clipping audio in a timeline, it would be easier to select the end of an audio clip and drag it, similar to other audio editing software. Also, you should be able to increase the audio volume past 100%.

System: Dell Inspiron 560 Quad Core 2.5Ghz 4Gb RAM, 1Tb HD, HP laptop and various others
We don't like to duplicate functions which other Windows applications can do better which is why you can set up the Tools menu and then right click on resources to edit them using a full-featured program. I can see how clipping an audio file would be useful - I'll put this forward but physically changing the volume is better done by specialist software IMO.
