Please add the switch/case syntax placeholder to the drop-down Quickbuild code (i.e., where you have if, if/else, while, for....)
* switch case -- T/F
* switch case -- A, B, C, +default

That is the primary one I am interested -- you might know or think of other statements / syntax to include. Thanks.

Why not just add your own ;-)

They're just text files:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Opus Pro 8\Script Templates

Mack

P.S if you untick the create copy box in Opus you can even edit the original

Thanks Mack. Yeah, I'll have to try that (script templates) for some PRESET syntax / placeholder code. I've used those templates before for my function scripts when I am clear on their dependencies. I did not think of templates for such small code snippets.

The script editor's drop-down for placeholder syntax is really handy! I also use the script command listing quite a lot as well (on the left pane, and double-click to insert the command.)

Update: I just revisited and tried the Script Templates. It seems that that is not a very practical solution here (for placeholder syntax) -- because the template generates another new script object in the tree. ...unless there is some preference setting I've missed.

BTW, I can also use Dragon Naturally Speaking for this purpose. It has a custom text feature I can set up with preset sections of text.

In which case, you might like to look at a little clipboard program called ArsClip which allows quick access to predefined snippets.
