I'm producing an Opus Flex publication.

I need to include some animation of a character talking.

I've exported the animation as an swf file, and put this in the pub as a video object.

This works fine in preview, but once published the animation is not picked up.

I've made sure that the anim swf is in the same folder as the main swf.

I have also tried using an anim gif - as long as the background is solid (not transparent) this works, but I thunk the file sizes are going to get too big, so I'd prefer the swf route.

Any advice welcome!

It seems that flv files work better - so I'll experiment with them.

Does anyone have experience of hosting flex files?

It's for a presentation to be made available online to around 800 people.

Currently the whole file has to get downloaded before the publication starts - so I'm looking for any suggestions to speed this up.
