My publication has labels in frames which include text input boxes on the side of the screen. The aim is for the user to type in text into the label and then drag it on to a locations on a large image elsewhere on the screen. This is working fine, however, it leaves a flashing cursor at the location where the user typed into the text input box. Is there an action available that I can use to switch the flashing cursor off, e.g. with left mouse down or left mouse click as the user drags the label? My publication will be exported as an OpusFlex file.

Using Windows7 and Opus Pro 9.03.

Not tried this with Flex, but the normal solution is to use the setfocus command to change the text box focus to another text box -one that is very small or hidden.

Thank you.

Created a text input box hidden below `the screen area, and genetrated a script action for SetFocus for 'Mouse Down' to go to that frame - works great. A warning was generated during publishing to Opus Flex stating that SetFocus was not supported, but it seems to be working fine.

Thanks again.
