Hello,
it is possible a program that is in the system tray to open with a keyboardbutton and play a video, which I have integrated into the program?

It is possible for an Opus Pro pub, set up as a window (not full screen) to begin with "run minimised" or "minimise to system tray." If done, the pub starts and runs while minimized.

If you add a keyboard trigger (for example, selecting the space bar as the key) to the first page, and use it to trigger the Window>Maximise Window action and then, next, run the video, the video plays when the space bar maximizes the window. But not if the app does not have primary focus in the system tray. Focus is achieved when the app is first launched. Or, if its system tray icon is clicked, which maximizes the app, following which a key board press (or button click) would launch the video. So, not a very good solution.

The challenge still needing resolution is how to maintain the app's primary focus, so that whenever you press the space bar (or other key that you have chosen), it maximizes this specific app's window and plays the video.

A challenging problem.

Thank you for the answer. Similar considerations I already had.
My big problem is to get the program into focus.
I tried using AutoHotkey to write a script that this function takes, but so far without success.
Do you have an idea?

Unfortunately, no ideas how to do this yet.

If I discover a solution, I will post it.

Best Wishes,

I think what you want is a Global Key Hook. I'm not an AutoHotKey fan as it triggers virus alerts, so my primary thought would be to look into using a third party DLL.
