Can anyone tell me...
if I play a 1020p .wmv video in a half-size video window with scale-to-fit set will the playback smoothness or quality be visibly compromised ?
My limited testing in Opus before publishing looks good.

Mac --

Good day mate! As always, "it depends." Whenever OPUS has to do "heavy lifting" re-sizing anything, it takes resources, so if you have a powerful computer, with nothing else running, MAYBE you won't notice pauses/jerkiness. But you know clients always have multiple windows open, plus they have under rated RAM/CPUs, so while it may look OK on your computer, you'll get complainants from users.

A good "rule of thumb" is always re-size graphics and videos before inserting them into OPUS. It will solve "the problem" before you have a problem.

Thank you Fred.
I have another video question but I'll pop it in its own thread
