Hi,

I am developing a reading passage for children and would like to highlight some difficult words in the passage and give more info to the children.

How can I enable the user to click / tap (mobile device) the highlighted word and trigger a pop-out or call-out which contains more information about the word?

Thank you for your advice. Really appreciated. :)

Probably requires a little lateral thinking.

If it's short lines - the cat sat on the mat - then splitting the words onto buttons in a radio group with flare added might be suitable...

If you have longer passages, then you could again draw buttons beneath individual words that have no colour on the up but colour on the down state. Clicking them will toggle this.

Each button can then run whatever actions necessary - like hiding / showing a frame (callout).

Hi Mack!

Thank you for your reply!

I prefer the second approach because usually I will need to provide more info and maybe simple examples to the children as we are all ESL learners. I will definitely give it a try!

Thank you again!
