any idea how to make a horizontal ticker from a txt file.?

I did not view the example, but if you are wanting to take in an RSS feed and scroll it in an Opus object, Search this forum for: rss feed

In those results, especially check-out the Post by keith.hulse as it leads to a downloadable example (older Opus).
...but possibly other threads in the results will help also.
