I have the samme issue, hope Opus will try to fix it, otherwise No application with sounds..and that is not what kids expect..

I think the solution is this:
On each button that triggers the sound, use this action:
left mouse click
Consecutive action group:
stop wave sound (all sounds)
delay (from0.2 sec to 0.5 seconds is enough)
play sound (the sound you want for that button)

Always stop the sound (all sounds) before you play the specific sound for that button.
Also, for the buttons that change pages forward or backward use again the stop wave action.

I've prepared my new exercises on android app for my website yes24.es and they work.
In HTML I have a lot exercises already done on my web with 24 individual sound files on each exercise and they work perfectly.
