I need to use a font that is in the map where all fonts are stored, but they don't appear in Opus.
What can be the problem and how can i fix it?

Kind Regards,
Ad Mulders

Two reasons:

1. Opus doesn't detect all types of fonts.

2. If your using a HTML5 publication, the available fonts are defined in the web font manager.

Hello Mack,
It is not an HTML5 project so that's not the problem.
I need to use the Futura Font. I downloaded the ttf font type and installed it.
In HELP i see that the font type must be ttf but the font don't appear in the list.
Is there maybe an other way?

Checked mine and they are working:

They are here for you to try: http://sandbox.interaktiv.co.uk/futura.zip

If they don't work, try resetting your Opus settings.

Run Opus and as soon as you have double clicked the program to load, hit and hold Ctrl + Alt until you're prompted to reset.

Have you tried other fonts to see if they work when installed?

And are these fonts showing up in other applications?

Yes, i installed other TTF fonts. They all show up in Word and Photoshop
but not in Opus.

At this point, you may have to remove Opus completely and possibly clean-up all registry traces (make sure you have your activation key).

But also check any applications that could be interfering - AV, Firewalls, etc.

I don't know if it could be a problem, but do you have a lot of fonts installed?

I removed and re-installed Opus. Costs me a lot of time to set everything back again
but without result...
I gonna look for a new computer and maybe that helps.

One last suggestion that may work, is try installing an older version of v7 and see if that allows you to recognise the fonts and then reinstall the latest.
