I am having a problem similar to the one that was posted by Oscar Nijst
Jan 17. I have looked at the example that was given to him and it helps alot. Now the scrollbar show up and works the first time. My question is why does it disappear after the first time it is used? How can I get it to remain visible(even while scrolling with it)? I would appreciate any input. I am close to finishing my application but it is not user friendly if the user can't scroll. My one listbox will populate with over 900 terms.

Thanks for the advice. I can see how that example would work. However, is there a way to fix the style of listbox I have. I am using a list box that is made with several text boxes and a modified scrollbar. I will try to attach a copy of the one that Tony did that matches mine.
(by the way, his runs the same way as mine --- thumb disappears after first use!)

If there isn't an answer, I'll try to switch everything over to the otherstyle of listbox. Unfortuanately that would take some time and I'd have to modify some code.

Thank you for your enquiry.

I think you may have misinterpreted the purpose of the Listbox object. This object allows you to create a scrollable list of text items and records the index or text of any item which is selected. It is not necessary (nor advisable) to insert multiple text objects within a Listbox - this functionality is already handled by the Listbox object.

Please find attached another more simple example which demonstrates how the listbox displays all of the records from the database and allows you to store the selected item without the use of additional objects.
