Hi all,
We have some question about web publishing.
We want to create a publication with test page. The database server is mysql. We can not connect to the DB server from opus pro . We tried to use the web post data but it was unsuccessful.
The questions are: How can we get and put data from mysql server to web page published by opus? Unfortunatelly we can codeing only php.
If you have an example please copy it .
Thanx
Imi

Hi Imi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

I have added two new articles to the Opus Pro and XE Tutorials section which will guide you through the process of adding records and displaying records from a MySQL database using Post Web Data actions in conjunction with PHP scripts.

For your convenience, I have provided links to these articles below:

Adding records to a database - http://www.digitalgrapevine.info/viewtopic.php?t=744
Displaying records from a database - http://www.digitalgrapevine.info/viewtopic.php?t=745

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further problems.

Kind regards,

Hi all you PHP devotees.

I've just found this - from the website:

"PriadoBlender is a tool to let you distribute your PHP scripts as an executable EXEs. It is similar to the PHPCompiler that was available for a couple of months a year or 2 ago. PriadoBlender isn't a true compiler in the computer science sense of the term. True compilers take the high-level code and turn it into machine/assembly code. Instead, PriadoBlender takes your PHP code and the PHP interpretor itself and blends them into standalone, PHP executable goodness."

Havn't yet tried it out but looks like it might be useful...and it's FREE
