Is there a variable or setting to save the user's current window location so that after they exit the program it will restart in the same location, overriding the Publication/Properties/Window/Location?

Thanks!

Walter

Hi, you can always use the "Bookmark Action" in Opus Pro XE: Set bookmark, go to bookmark, etc.
You can add this action to a button so when your customer wants to leave your application just need to click on it and the page will be bookmarked.
Then you use another button so when the customers comes back into your application click on it to go to bookmark saved.
You can setup multiple bookmarks.
Regards
German

Thank you for your input, German, but I am referring to the x,y coordinate of the program window's starting position.

For example, open Notepad, resize it and drag it to any location on your screen. Close it, then open it again and it will be at the location where you just closed it.

It would be nice if the users did not have to move the app to their desired position each time they open it. It's a standard Windows convention that's been around since at least Windows 3.1 but I appreciate that we're not creating standard Windows apps.

This might sound dumb or obfuscated, but if you create your Opus publication as a web-publication, you could then save it as a .CHM file. Doing this would allow the window to remember its size and location assuming you set your CHM file up that way. Not the most elegant solution, but you can create CHM files for free, it would just be an extra step.
