Can you create dropdown menus? If so, how can I.

Thank you,

Rick

Is anybody going to reply? I seem to recall some tutorials that used to be on the DW site back in the last days of Pro 2.81, one of which covered this topic. I can no longer fine them, however.

I'd be keen to learn more as well as I'd like to make drop down menus for my projects.

Hi gents,

The old forum certainly still contains information and examples of the drop down menu. It can be located at http://www.eccker.org/ilm/

Undertake a search on Drop Down Menu's and you should find about 20 entries, some of these have examples attached.

Regards

Don

Rick

I re accessed the forum without any problems, I have grabbed one of the sample files from Jim Ong, which is attached - however I am due to fly interstate in an hour and have not had a great look at it to see if it will meet your needs - hopefully it will.

Otherwise I will retry in a week if you haven't had any luck - sorry.

Don

Hi Brian,

That file is the Opus Video Player. If I am correct, it's not a good example of dropdown menus. There is another file I found and downloaded named, Dropdown menus, imp" and unfortunately is will not open with XE. It says that it can only be opened with version 4.

It looks as though there aren't good examples for dropdown menus for either version 4 or 5.

Thank you,

Rick

Brian and Don,

Thank you both for assisting me in the menu dropdown. The "10421 works fine. I will study it so that I may create my own and then create several tutoruials on "How To."

I am mostly using the Flex side of Opus, can this be published as a SWF file?

Rick
