I'm currently using the trial version of Opus Professional Version 5.0. I created graphics in Corel Designer and imported them into Opus. I then animate them to rotate etc. in Opus. I then publish them. The publish version seems to cut pieces of the graphics out. Please let me know what some of the possible causes are.

Thanks,

What format are you saving the images in? Can you post an example here or send it in to Support (preferably via the Contact Technical Support menu item in Opus so we also have your system information)? Thanks.

Heres a zipped version. Let me know if this will work. I tried to use the the Contact Technical Support menu but it gave me an error saying the e-mail didn't work.

There seems to be a problem related to your use of the transparent colour option and the resizing of your images.

There are two solutions:

1) Use an image format that supports transparency (i.e. PNG) when exporting your images. That way you won't need the Opus transparency option. This will also allow for full alpha transparency, so the edges of the shapes will look nicer (assuming Corel Designer exports them properly).

2) When you publish, on the third page of the wizard is a Settings button. Click that and on the Options tab, uncheck the "Enable Image Resizing" option. Publish as normal and everything will be fine.

I notice that your source images are generally huge - I would strongly recommend that you create your images at the correct size that you intend to use them in the publication. That way you will always maintain the quality and speed up the publish process as well.

I will add the transparency/resize issue to our list of things to investigate for future releases.
