Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to achieve that "Star Wars" effect where text scrolls up the page but as it does so it's squeezed and dissapears into the distant horizon (not that there is a horizon in space, but hopefully you get the idea). I realize this can be created as an animation and then imported as (eg) a flash file, however I would really like to achive this using Opus Pro if possible.

Any help would be very welcome. Thanks in advance.

Justin

You can do it in windows movie maker! Really simple to do too... choose title animation scroll perspective...

Just import the video in to Opus and there you are

I did an example - but can't post it...

email me and I'll bounce it!

Craig,

Thanks for your post ... actually I'm not bad with video editing and know what you mean, namely that it's quite easy to accomplish and then import. However, I'd prefer not to play a video file in the presentation but instead use the Opus text to do the job if it's possible ... I'm beginning to think that it's asking too much of Opus though.

Cheers, Justin

Someone ahs been editing posts!

I posted and example using a photoshop perspective image for text- and Dave emberton also suggested a work around -using an Onshow Trigger and setting a roll animation to 45degrees but keeping the time to zero..

Works best if text is converted to vector

I tried that and it works really well!

No - it's just that cleggy started the same thread twice... once in the Basics forum and again in the Advanced forum

Please don't do that - it confuses people and diultes your responses!

Sorry all,

I guess I was getting a little impatient as no replies were initially coming in on the "Basics" forum, so I thought that maybe it was a question better posed to the "Advanced Users" forum. Will remember to post in 1 forum in future, but thanks for all your replies and responses, I appreciate it!
