I am able to launch a .vob DVD file from within Opus Pro 04, but it opens in an external player.
Does anyone know if I can launch it within a publication window (similar to avi etc), so the user will not have access to the players controls and effectively exit my pub? This is for a kiosk)
thanks in advance...

Following advice on the WWW I simply changed the extension .vob to .mpg and find that if I choose 'on top' as a playing option then it works in a video object window.
My problem now is that if I pause it I cannot seem to restart it from the pause positio, but can only restart it at the beginning.
Any help on this?

See video stop syntax "Stop( Reset, Synch )"

ensure that the video object doesn't "reset when end is reached" and use the following stop syntax for a pause.

Video1.Stop(false, false)

When you play video again, should continue from this point....

If you are using Buttons and Actions to Start/Stop/Pause/etc your video, take a look at your "Play" Actions. In the lower right portion of the Actions tab, there is an outlined area marked "Synchronise." By default, the box "Send 'Synchronise to Start' trigger" has a check mark. Un-tick/check this box. Otherwise, each time you click the "Play" Button, you are telling OPUS to restart the Video Object from the beginning.
