 Post subject: a good idea???

I am a music teacher and prepare many programs for learn from notes! A completely mad extension would be a trigger, on midi signals reacts and an appropriate action!!!!

Would be such a thing feasible???

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion.

This is a nice idea, but one problem may be setting up the correct MIDI Input device. As any user of Cubase, Logic or other software sequencer knows, these settings are never automatically detected and must be configured manually before the software will respond to MIDI triggers.

Would Opus need to include a configuration splash screen which the user could use to set the required input device? Or should this be dictated by the author (who may not have the same devices connected)?

We will however investigate this idea further and see how it could be implemented into a future update.

I am pleased that my idea attention find and would be very grateful for a Midi-function in opus!
I think a control of the Mididevices should to be mastered have nevertheless, because in windows by the system an appropriate driver is already made available. Would beautifully be natural, if the author could insert a configuration option the mididivices for the user.
