Hello Everyone,

Would someone share some advice.
My problem is that I am creating a publication and it has hyperlinks
that need to launch Adobe Acrobat reader and open PDF files.
My problem is that I need it to find the files regardless of the clients
cd-rom drive letter.

<SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR> is not working for me.Any other

suggestions. or can anyone attach a small sample project file with one

hypertext I could publish and test. And from there I could look at the

hypertext settings and get a better understanding and troubleshoot

where I'm going wrong.

P.S. "HELP"

Thank you.

Hi !

I hope you didn't forget the backslashes .

I've also put PDFs on a button and they work like this

Launch file : crossword.pdf

The file will be found at this location :
<SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR>\

If you want to launch a PDF from a subdirectory use : <SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR>\subdirectory\

I've attached a screenshot with an example I used

Hope this helps :D
