Hello to all of you
A client want me to build an application that records activities and time. I know that using Excel and VBA I can build a spreadsheet but the client want me to do something more "good to the eye" that just an Excel file.

My question is this:

Is there any possibility that Opus PRO XE 5.14 can capture the time when an activity begins, when it finish and give me the report on time spent and at the end of a period X add up all the time spent in each one of the activities.

E.g

Activity 1
Starting time:
Finish time:
Total time:
Total time at the end of the period for Activity 1 is:

Activity 2
Starting time:
Finishing time:
Total time:
Total time at the end of the period for Activity 2 is:

I hope I am clear enough. Help will be very much appreciated.
German

the time marker as in preview - could this be made available to be used at run time within a presentation?

That's a nifty idea.

I'm sure that could be done... DW?

Hi to all,
It has been over a week and nobody has replied to my SOS so I am assuming that I have found something that Opus can't do.
This is a great product and so far I have been able to do anything my customers wanted.
Just in case there is someone out there who knows......HELP!

German,

Please take a look at the attached basic example.

I have used a combination of the clock feature and the inbuilt system variables.

Dear Brenden
Thank you very much for your example. Unfortunately this is the part that I already knew how to do it. The part I am having problems with is the ability to capture the result of the equation:
Time spent=Final time -Initial time
and at the end of every month or any other period, to add up all the time spent per activity to produce a report.

I hope it makes sense what I am trying to achieve.
Thanks
German
