Hello, I am a bit confused here so please DW clarify the following for me:

I have Opus Pro XE 5.1 installed from a CD that was sent to me. The release details are as follows:

Version: 5.10
Level: Opus Professional XE
Build Date: June 27 2005 17:08:40
Build Type: Release

Do I need to apply the new update you are advertising?? There are some mentions in the forum of this being release 5.12.

Thank you for your help

Service release one should be applied to all 05 versions. Service release 1 will bring all versions before 05.13 up tp 5.13. If you need any further clarification please feel free to ask.

Hi Brenden

Are Evolution customers going to be sent a second CD with the extra Evolution Customer Enhancements that are mentioned in the release notes for the download?

Just noticed that the Opus 05 download has the wrong default path when it is being installed.

It tries to install in Program Files\Opus Pro 04 instead of Program Files\Opus Pro 05. Watch out for that if you're trying to maintain both versions!

I will get clarification on this on Monday but would imagine a new CD will be sent.

Hi,

I just downloaded the Opus 05 SR1, when I right clicked on the file and went to the Version tab it has all the details for Opus 04 SR4.

Is this just something that was forgot to be updated, or have I downloaded the wrong version?

Joe

It's a mistake on the installer information. It does not effet the content of the patch, which is 05.13

Any news on this? Evolution customers seem to be at the back of the queue on these updates.

Me neither. Evolution? DW seems to be treating Evolution subscribers like an extinct species at the moment.

I sorta don't understand the urgency in having CD's being sent, if you've downloaded the patches/updates and your running the latest version.

I've been thinking about going for an evolution subscription, rather than just buying 05, but there seem to be quite a few moans and groans about it on the forum.

Also, I can't remember where I read about it, and I can't find the latest prices & details.
