I am currently tearing out what little hair I have left.
We are working on an intro page comprising of a 30 image slide show with an irregular border, each shown for 2 secs with a dissolve between each image plus a 2 minute mpeg again with an irregular border and set to render in the video properties and some additional fade up fade down text -

Having fallen foul of the multi object activity PC slow down issue before -
Particularly on slower playback machines, we have decided to output the page to video for final working in after effects.

So far so good.....

Using screen capture - the slide show and fadeup down objects are fine -but the mpeg stutters.

Using the Opus Video type or Opus DVD type - the published mpeg video is nice and smooth but the slide show is doing a cut between images
i.e. when every image is shown - it fades up from 100% transparency and then disappears prior to the next image fading up from 100% transparency.

I have tried all manner of options
I am also having a problem - although not directly relevant here and probably due to not understanding Opus interpretation of Chromakey,
If I use a video with an irregular border - I can only get it to be viewed by using the render option in the video properties.

Any help with either issue would be greatly appreciated

Pete

Pete,

We are looking into the first part of the question re DVD and I will post as soon as I get an answer back from development.

The second part is the way Opus works - if you want fancy borders you need to use the rendered mode. This is because chromakey does not support alpha channels, as it is a single colour.
