Opus: Opus Pro 7.5
OS: Windows 7 32 bit on BootCamp
System: MacBook Pro, 3 GBytes RAM, Core2Duo T8300@2.4 GHz,
Dear DW programmers!

This is a feature request that I think would open new unlimited possibilities in Opus programming.

Opus is a point-n-click tool, it enables us to program without writing code (until you use the script, but still very easy).

When it is about Web Databases, you have to rely on external Perl or other scripts.

If there could be an addon module or anything that enables us to communicate with a server database from within Opus without scripts, this would be great.

Regards

Dennis Zervas

Not really practical I'm afraid - the web post actions have to talk to "something" and if it isn't PHP/Perl/ASP etc then it would have to be something custom, which most people would be unwilling to run on their webservers. Why reinvent the wheel when there are plenty of worldwide standards that do the job?

A combination of PHP and MySQL is completely free and relatively simple to set up and use (assuming you have a webserver) - I would recommend you look into that.
