Hi

I'd like to set up a Search Dialog so that the user's search is confined to external text files - rather than pages in the publication.

1. Is this possible?
2. If so, will it take forever for the Search Box to appear (there are hundreds of text files)?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Search a certain directory ?
Text files are the same or different per user ?
Search dialog will show the name of the text file? Open it?

The text files are held in a directory (Docs) that's published with the CD.

Each text file is the same per user.

I don't really need to see the name of the text file - except that I haven't figured out yet how to differentiate files that are similar to others. What I'd really like is for the user to be able to input a string of text that narrows the search to a smallish number of text files - but I don't have any appetite, time or skill to create a separate database.
