I am putting together a production about the Disability Discrimination Act and would like the users to be able to change the backgound colour to suit their requirements.
I thought the best way would be to set up a Master page with all the necessary scripting on and refer all other pages to that master.
However, I cannot find a way of permenantly setting the page background colour of the Master via a script from any of the subsequent pages. I can set an object on the page (I used a frame) and set the backgound colour of that, but as the page changes there is a brief on-screen flash as the script sorts out the right colour to display, which is not acceptable.
Has anyone either done this type of thing before, or have any good ideas?

Without knowing the size or complexity your publication this may not be appropriate.
Have you considered finishing your publication and then making copies of the chapter and changing the colour of the master page in each chapter?
Then from the page that set the colour jumping to the chapter with the matching colour.

There are no script actions to change the details of a master page therefore the method above may be the best option.
