List box and write to file

Please I need help making an input box when entered it writes a word in a file and then there is a list box down retreive its items from that file. I know it's simple but I really a new on this programme

I need also when I click/db click on on item in the list box it does an action like show or hide something

I really don't know how to thank you for your help,but in this case when i choose any item it shows the circle.I want to choose different items for different action.Sorry for bothering you
