Dear colleagues,

I am trying to make a backup application which will copy all files from specified folders to another location in the LAN.

Is it possible to tell Opus Pro 04 to use the copy action with wildcards?

Or any other way to specify ALL the files inside a folder?

Hi Dennis

I've used 05 XE to copy multiple files in a folder using wildcards. I believe 04 Pro and XE (latest version, 4.5) also have this action. Check your help guide under copying files and DOS wildcards.

If so, you will be able to copy all files using *.* or select file types using *.filetype (for example, *.txt, *.doc, etc.). So, use one of these for the files to be copied, following the folder: for example, folderxyz\*.* (all files in folder xyz) or folderxyz\*.txt (all .txt files in folderxyz). Then add your destination pathname where requested.
