I have a 800 x 600 page with a vertical frame of about 80 x 2000. In the page I have two buttons (mouse over) with "move vertical" action for to move the frame in a vertical way (up or down).

My question is How can I do for to stop automatically the frame when the top or bottom side appears in the screen.

Actually If I put the mouse over the button when the top or bottom frame side appears on the screen, it logically continues the move until dissapears from the screen...and I want to evit that.....

Sorry for my english......it is worst than ever.....

I am attaching an example

Thanks a lot and I wonderful year for everebody

Federico

Please find attached.
To achieve the same scroll requirement with the frame object, I have re-ordered the frames within "frame 1" and renamed them accordingly, adding two frames that signifies the top most frame and its correspondent at the bottom.
these I named
Frametop
Framebottom

I have also added two blank frames positioned at the points where you want the scroll to end and named them

animation_up
animation_down

How it fits together
By continously checking the position of the frametop/framebottom against the animation_up/animation_down on the "mouse over" event, script on the mouse event will run a loop, moving the frame in desired direction. On "mouse exit" another variable animationStop is set to "TRUE" which cancels out the loop and stops the scroll.

Hi Federico,

To show how versatile Opus is...

There's also another way to do it without the use of script or variables, by using Disable Object and Collision Enter. It may be a more crude approach than "eomc40's" excellent solution, but it may be usuable. :)

(read the "Notes View" in the editor for my comments)
