I have the same problem TechnoTraining posted some weeks ago (viewtopic.php?t=1418)... Use powerpoint files into a docview frame does not works...the computer hangs ...etc....By other side the only option I have is to use the .ppt file cause the kind of animations it has.....there are many .ppt files...or converting to flash does not create a exact replic of the ppt---etc

So I decided use the launch action for to show the ppt files....All ppt files will be in the publication that will run from the cdrom...

The question I have is what need I to do for assure that publication will know (when need it) where to find the ppt files if the cd player letter is different than C:...by example

Thanks

Federico

In the box were it says "file will be found at this location when published" put:

<SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR>

This will find the ppt files as long as they are in the same folder as the published exe file.

I imagined that but I was not sure...hehehehe....I thought that using <SYSTEM_PUBLICATION_DIR> it only works if the cd player is in C:....
