I've just received this as an upgrade, and before I install it, can DW answer a couple of quick questions, please?

I already have Opus 2.81 installed, and also, separately, Opus Pro 4.21.

Will Opus Pro 4 XE overwrite either of these, or is it a completely new installation?

Can I install XE and ditch Pro 4, and continue to modify those publications already built with Pro 4?

Do I have to upgrade to the latest service pack (4.21 - which I already have on my existing Opus Pro 4) or is it already included on the installation disk?

Chris

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Opus Pro XE 04 installs as a completely separate application and does not try to update or overwrite your existing Opus Pro 04 installation. You can therefore uninstall Opus Pro 04 before or after installing Opus Pro XE 04 without affecting the XE 04 installation.

Opus Pro XE 04 will import your Opus Pro 04 publications without problems and allow you to continue working on these projects without delay.

The Opus Pro XE 04 installation CD-ROM includes Service Release 2 integrated into the install, so you should not need to update Opus Pro XE 04 once installed.

I hope this clears up any confusion.

Kind regards,
