I have a publication I am attempting to putput to a video that I can pull into my Edius system and output to a DVD. The problem I have is that the video that results from the publication does nothing.

I have this built as a multiframe with each frame triggering an audio file. Synced to the end of the audio file, I have a multiframe action to go to the next frame in that multiframe. In preview it works, but when I publish it to a video I get nothing but a blank screen. The first frame of the multiframe does not show, the audio doesnot play, nothing but the background.

I do not have "initially hidden" checked on the multiframe. Any ideas?

I tried to do this as a DVD project in Ous, but ran into much the same problem.

What triggers the multi-frame starting? If it is any kind of user interaction you will need to record the keyboard and mouse input and then play that back during the video export. This option is on by default, you just need to use the Record option from the Publication menu.

Duncan,

The multi-frame is there right off the bat. There is an on show trigger to play the audio file. From there it is just sync to end of audio files and go to next frame in the multi-frame. I didn't put any user interaction into it at all.

That is what puzzles me. There is no user interaction included, but the multi-frame doesn't begin right away. It works during the page and publication preview, but not on publication.

Thanks, Duncan. I hope it is just some little thing I forgot to do.

I have this problem too!
Multiframes play in preview but will not export to DVD output video.
The multiframe with 147 frames is set to start automatically and play continuously.

I have seven hours before my pub plays to an audience!
