Can DW give any indication as to what feature requests are being considered for future releases of this amazing application?

It seems to me that there are a number of potentially easy additions listed here.....

Just a thought

Pete

For obvious reasons we don't like to discuss features in upcoming releases until its closer to the time of release (and we know those things will definitely be in).

The next version of Opus will not be out for some considerable time as we have a number of things we want to do with it and we now have a range of products to keep in step. I hope we'll have something this year but not until Q4 I expect.

But what I can say is that there are a number of things mentioned here which are high on the list. As are some of the items mentioned elsewhere. Improving sound control is one which comes up regularly and the database interface could be improved so we're looking at both of those and SCORM - as promised.

Other than that you'll have to wait and see :-) but, as I said, it will be quite a while to wait.

Dear Paul

Thank you for the open and honest answer to Pete's inquiry. Often vendors are quick to say all of the world's problems will be resolved with the next release and it should be available tomorrow. It is nice to kow that you are working on significant improvements and have a realistic timeline. I look forward to hearing more as you get closer to the next release.

Thanks for the continued outstanding support.
Dave

PS: I am really looking froward to the SCORM imporvements!

I'd also like to thank Paul for being open and frank with all of us OPUS users. It really is a great product and to make it better you need time. There's no sense in releasing a new version if new features don't work. I too am looking forward to the new OPUS (especially improved sound controls) :D Keep up the good work !
