Probably a straightforward answer to this, but I can't seem to find it...

I have four similar images that I need to continue fading in and out on a page. The only difference between the images is the colour scheme. The desired effect is for the images to appear to fade in and out in turn from the lower left corner to the top right.

The method I am trying to employ is by using a repeating timeline, and having an "on show, fade SWNE" and "on hide, fade SWNE" property (both 1.00 secs in duration) applied to each image.

The effect works OK when the image fades in, but then it disappears abruptly instead of fading out in the same direction.

Where have I lost the plot?

Chris --

Make sure there's a tiny gap between SHOW and HIDE. If HIDE overlaps SHOW, it will do a TAKE instead of a Transition Fade. Use the "+" icon on the lower left Timeline to expand your time to make sure there's a gap.
