Hi ,
Is this possible.

I want to place a photograph on the page, initially hidden, then when I click a hotspot, the picture shows, then when I click that photograph, the photograph disappears.

Any ideas?

Phil Edwards

Hi Phil

I believe you can achieve this by
(1) inserting an image box on the page (size it to the pixel height and width of the photo) and checking initially hidden in the general properties tab for the image and selecting the photo in the properties image tab.

(2) Now, wherever you place your hotspot, edit its actions by placing a trigger (for example, left mouse click) and choosing the Show action and picking the specific image to show. You could also set another action with, for example, a right mouse click in the hotspot to hide the same image, if needed.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,
Stephen

Hi

A nice example from Oscar.

Phil: you can also set up the image box with the same actions, avoiding the need for the hotspot, if you wish. Mouse over and mouse exit triggers can be used.

A little extra work here, since the viewer won't know where the hidden image box is in order to mouse over, unless you place it inside a frame with no background, but having a visible border. The frame then carries the triggers and actions instead of the image box.

An example is attached.

Kind Regards,
Stephen
