Thanks Fred - all is as it should be (as you describe).
Basically, my first button makes visible some objects, and also sets in motion a number of Path Animations, separated by 10 second delays.
My second button is designed to hide the objects, and cease/reset the path animations.
If I click the first button, and wait for ALL the animatins to start, THEN I can stop them with a click of the second button.
The problem is, a user may well wish to halt all the outstanding animations for expediency BEFORE they have all started - in effect, to stop those already running, and pre-emptively cancel the remainder before they start, if you see what I mean.
Can this be done? Effectively I am setting a train of events in motion with one button, and wish to readily cancel them all (complete or otherwise) with a click of the second button.
Probably didn't explain myself too well before.
